Job description Who are we: Campanella, a new Italian-inspired restaurant slated to open in mid-late summer 2024. We are a hospitality and growth-oriented restaurant group looking for someone who shares our values of guest-focused service, professional leadership, strong financial success, and consistent, steady temperament. Individuals who apply for this position should be eager to be a part of the Sebastopol community. Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and talented Executive Chef to join our team. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our culinary operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management. If you have a passion for creating exceptional dishes and leading a team of culinary professionals, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities:- Develop and implement menus that meet the needs and preferences of our guests- Oversee food preparation and ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards- Manage inventory and control food costs- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety procedures- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment- Adhere to all health and safety regulations- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new culinary techniques Skills:- Extensive experience in food preparation, preferably in a high-volume setting- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and flavor profiles- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team- Proficient in kitchen management, including inventory control and cost management- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment- Strong communication skills Qualifications- Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising and managing teams in a culinary environment- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with kitchen staff, management, and clients- Proficient in inventory control to ensure efficient management of food supplies and resources- Extensive culinary experience with a focus on food preparation and presentation- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, exhibiting strong leadership qualities If you are a talented chef with a passion for creating delicious dishes, we invite you to apply for this position.
